The C3NS team familiarizes themselves with your business and how it operates. When needed, we evaluate secondary systems that could be affected by the deployment. The team meets with stakeholders and high end users in the affected departments to gather the requirements for the system. This helps to ensure that the solution designed will meet the goals of not only the management but the users of the system. Without user buy-in, even the best solution will fail.

Often the most overlooked step in choosing a provider. Computer systems cannot be installed and just expected to function without support. C3NS employs a proactive strategy at a fraction of the cost compared to outages and loss of data. C3NS offers full time, part time, on-call, and remote service options. We have bundled support packages that will prevent or resolve issues and optional 24/7 support.

Large dispersed commercial client in Texas, C3NS was tasked with upgrading their 11 site network and messaging system from NT to Windows 2003 Active Directory Environment and Exchange 2003, with a later upgrade to Exchange 2007. They had existing hardware at the site that they wanted to ensure could handle the new applications and load on the system.
C3NS brought one of the servers to our test environment that contained a snap shot of their primary systems and loaded Exchange. C3NS ran a series of load tests over a few days on the network including a Exchange Load Generator that simulated the volume and size of the message traffic we captured from the live environment.
The client planned on the addition of 100 users over the next year. C3NS expanded our testing to see if the increased the load on the system would allow the client to use its existing hardware. We found that the current server would not handle the addition of 100 users and saved our Client from the costly expense of an additional roll out within a year.
Commonwealth of Virginia, C3NS was tasked with upgrading a domain with 86 users from Windows NT with Windows 2000 clients to Windows 2003 and XP clients.
The environment was a data gathering lab for experiments. The client PC’s had at least 15 legacy applications that were used weekly to gather data from test subjects.
The environment had extra replacement Client PCs in storage that allowed us to bring them to our test environment. We stood up Windows NT domain similar to their operating environment and tested all the legacy applications on the client PC’s to ensure functionality.
The following upgrade tests were performed:
It was found that the upgraded Client PCs prevented most of the legacy apps from running while only 3 legacy apps on the clean load PCs would fail to run correctly. Load generators were run on the client PCs to ensure they would operate within the labs parameters.
The results were taken to stakeholders and 2 of the legacy applications were adjusted to allow them to run on the XP Client PC’s and one retired by a newer application.
With the use of the C3NS test environment, we prevented the lab from being down for over two months and were able to maintain the planned downtime estimate of 3 days during the upgrade.
